So it's bad, but it's very early concept art for my Queens of cards dresses. My scanner is well, an angry scanner as most are, and I suck at drawing. I'm still working on Hearts, Diamonds, and Spades. And when I'm done with the concept stuff I'll work on the detail larger drawing, and then a colored version. Maybe if I still feel really motivated when the colored versions are done I'll start making them. Providing my current cosplay project is finished by then.
Anyways, Queen of Clubs dress. It's themed Victorian style, nice and frilly. I'd appreciate any ideas for incorporating more of a clubs theme, or any ideas for the other dresses as well. Except colors, I've already decided on those. Clubs will be green, Spades purple, Hearts red and black, and Diamonds blue and white.
Wow, are you kidding me? Bad? I'm impressed! Designing clothes as good as that is a talent in itself, never mind drawing them. I'd totally wear that dress.
As for way to incorporate more clubs into it...um...maybe, like, a head piece? Because I imagine the girl wearing this with like, all her hair up high on her head, like the Victorian style, and maybe a crown or headband-like thing would help too add more clubs to it?
I really like the collar especially, and that bodice part. Can't wait to see it coloured...

Actually. The way I invisioned the Spades dress. I think you'd suit the spades dress I'm working on. If I can just remember exactly how I imagined it ><. Spades will also be fluffy. As for head peices. I've only though of like a tiny crown or top hat thing for hearts, and a tiara for diamonds, though thats kinda steriotypical.
